Evening chat of BSD ep.21

Bungo Stray Dogs episode 21 is out and I’m still in disbelief how quick the episode ended.
I need another dose of Osamu Dazai *sobs*
The highlight of this episode was DazaixChuya. I love it!
I need to collect BSD manga as soon as it is released in my country, just like I collect Ace of Diamond. Because I need another dose of Osamu just like I need Kazuya Miyuki in my life >.<

Why I enjoy and adore Osamu Dazai character? Because he's so funny yet he's complicated deep inside. He's enigmatic, charismatic and also a wise man at certain times.

Look how I'm into anime and manga, I can't help it.

pictures sources are myanimelist(dot)net and BSD wiki.

Other than BSD, right now every week/month or bimonthly, I'm waiting a new chapter release from Meitantei Conan, One Piece, Ace of Diamond, Shingeki no Kyojin, Natsume Yuujinchou and Fukigen na Mononokean. Erm... what else?
Of course I have my own list of anime and manga to watch and read, but for the moment I forget what else, ah I forget Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji!
also, as an ordinary human being I've got too little time to digest all of them eventhough I realllllly want to watch and read Owari no Seraph, Tokyo Ghoul re and Fairy Tail again (because I postpone them for the moment).

Ah, by the way, I'm a little sad that we have to continue Psycho Pass without Kogami and Shogo Makishima, which is why I won't watch Psycho Pass season 2. For me, Kogami and Shogo are central characters that represent genuine human beings in the fucked-up-sybill system world. Well yeah, objectively, there were few characters who seemed like real human beings but they both were the most stand out and they brought out an interesting pace in the storyline. Akane was a good role model for being a human in sybill system world, but she was just too perfect to be true, she's too flawless, and it's boring for me. I have nothing against her though, it's just personal preference that I found her character too flawless to be true. Still, I thought of Akane is the female Shogo Makishima (for maintaining Psycho Pass perfectly), well, the good version of him, though.

For relaxing, I, sometimes, read Osomatsu-san. The newest manga installment from Osomatsu. So funny. I've got similar vibe from Bakabon, Shinchan, Doraemon etc. You know, that kind of manga that helps you to relax, giggle, laugh and forget bad days for a moment.

Current favorite songs

I really like the ending song of Bungo Stray Dogs by Luck Life.
You can find the great translation of the lyrics here
or from here, the song titled "Call Out the Name" or "I’ll Call Out Your Name" (名前を呼ぶよ; namae wo yobu yo) by a band called Luck Life.

Aside from this song, I like Natsume Yuujinchou Go ending song too, titled "Akane Sasu (茜さす)" by Aimer.
Both are great ending song choices, if it's my preferences we're talking about, though.

Ace of Diamond soundtracks from season 1-season 2 are also my favorite to listen to, especially the song called Grateful Story by OxT.

For Korean songs, I still listen to BIGBANG and 2NE1 songs regularly, I have CL - MTBD on loop everyday. I haven't been catching up with K-Pop latest songs lately, only few recent music acts I guess, like Blackpink and BTS. So sad my favorite groups like 8Eight has disbanded and 2AM is on hiatus. I'm following K-Pop scene until 2014 so mostly I stuck to songs ranging from old K-Pop songs to songs that's been released until early 2014. From then on, I only listen to musics from my most favorite singers. Nothing bad though! It's just too many groups and new singers came out after that I was unable to catch up, beside I have things to do in real life too.

For western songs, nowadays I'm really into Starboy by The Weeknd, Side to side by Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj, Suicide Squad soundtracks, and old songs by Alanis Morissette and System of A Down, ah also Nightwish's songs from Tarja era and Anette era. To be honest I don't like songs from their album with Floor Jansen. It's just my personal preference, nothing bad against them.

New eyeshadow palette

My laptop is broken so I can not update on this blog like I used to, because typing is lot easier on laptop or PC than in smartphone. Unfortunately I don't own a PC since 2009 or 2010.
That being said,
Yesterday I bought eyeshadow palette from wet n wild because my neutral palette from city color has been already used up with nothing else left 😥
and the sleek one is running out so I need to buy a new one.
Other than those palettes, I own a palette each from MAKE OVER and Emina, MAKE OVER is not a new local brand but Emina has just recently launched. I can say good things about MAKE OVER eyeshadow but for the Emina one, I'm not sure how to say it, but one thing I always have problem with is because it's too powdery so I got too many fall out under my eyes, around my cheeks and it was not pretty especially when I had done my face makeup.

The wet n wild comfort zone palette. Pretty isn't it?
I haven't opened it yet. 🙈🙈

it is from MAKE OVER. It's pigmented, a bit powdery but blendable. I bought it from cosmetic shop in my city.
Emina eyeshadow that I bought when I was in PVJ Bandung. It is so powdery. The browbone color on the right is actually pretty good. The chocolate brown and pink color are the most powdery out of the three with the most fall out too. When the chocolate brown had fall out onto my cheeks or under my eyes, they left brown stains and I had a hard time to fix my makeup afterwards.
I hope Emina reformulate it.

Kyougokudou's friends

I believe this picture is from Shikiganai Scanlation group that scanned and translated Natsuhiko Kyougoku's works in manga (Aki Shimizu is the illustrator) to English language,
except for Mōryō no Hako (which is partially translated and currently there is no group takes over the scanlation and translation job).

Just want to introduce the four friends in the Kyougokudou series.

The one who sit is Akihiko Chuzenji aka Kyougokudou, which is a nickname taken from the name of his bookstore. He works mainly as a book seller, but has side jobs as a priest and exorcist.

Beside Kyougokudou is Tatsumi Sekiguchi, a timid person, super naive borderline for being a dumb. Actually he loves reading books like Kyougokudou too. He's a writer.

Behind Kyougokudou is Reijirou Enokizu, a senpai, one year older, super popular, smart, wealthy and his father is a former viscount. He has the ability to see other people's memories when he sees their faces. He uses the ability to help him solving cases as he is now working as a detective.

Beside Enokizu is Shujiro Kiba who works for police department. Enokizu has a nickname for him, "Kibashuu".

Four of them have been friends since high school. Except Akihiko, the rest had been participated in a war and fortunately made it alive.
Akihiko was studying religion at that time (he's a priest, an atheist priest though).
Akihiko and Tatsumi both have wife and live nearby.
Enokizu and Kibashuu both are currently single.

First greeting

I have been idle from writing for such a long time, I used to write on my blog ever since I was in high school but ever since I got into college, it seemed like I had no inspiration to write anymore. Because of that I deleted all of my blog accounts in blogspot, wordpress, tumblr. Only two accounts other than this one that I kept but they both are currently inactive.

Just recently, 4 days ago, I was introduced to Natsuhiko Kyogoku's work, a manga titled Ubume no Natsu or The Summer of the Ubume, actually it was based on the novel with the same name but for the manga the author worked with Aki Shimizu as the illustrator.

I really like the manga a lot! It was dark, deep, mysterious, thrilling and psychologically educating if that makes sense, it made me to use my brain a lot to think thorough in every chapter.

I really like Japanese culture, the folklore, history, manga and anime, like mostly everything. But I just can not read, write and speak the language, I only know few Japanese terms.

two manga covers from Shikiganai scanlation which is kind enough for scanlating and translating this masterpiece.
